Study of the effect of media literacy training on improving the quality of life with the mediating role of Internet addiction

Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of media literacy training on improving the quality of life with the mediating role of Internet addiction. Communication technologies have a dual impact on human health and life, so that in addition to the important role it plays in increasing human well-being and comfort, they also have harmful aspects. Therefore, it is necessary to reveal the effect of media literacy training on quality of life. Assessing the existing backgrounds in this field, there is a lack of research on this issue, especially with the mediating role of Internet addiction. The present study is descriptive-correlation based on the applied purpose and based on the nature and method. Accordingly, Smart PLS software was used to analyze the data. The results showed that in order to move towards improving the quality of life, it is necessary to teach media literacy, especially from adolescence or even lower, in order to prevent adolescent Internet addiction and its impact on lowering the quality of life.
