Gig employees are a range of human resources who serve on a non-permanent basis, without a permanent contract, in the form of intermittent, part-time, and flexible work for one or more organizations and employers. Due to the ever-increasing hiring of these employees by employers, as well as different compensation with traditional laws, challenges have been created in the field of payments and compensation for human resources management and most importantly for gig workers. This research was conducted with the aim of achieving a deep understanding of the quantity and quality of compensation for gig workers. The research strategy is qualitative and descriptive phenomenology. The required data was obtained through open interviews with 15 active Gig employees in the fields of content production, programming, UI/UX design, online sales, blogging, accounting, and digital marketing in the form of targeted sampling. The 7-step Collaizi process was used to sort, organize and analyze the narrated data. The research findings led to the identification of 4 main categories and 15 sub-categories.
