Understanding the essence of movement and knowing how it exists in the physical world, is considered one of the most important philosophical issues in which wise men were occupied with, whether in the Greek era or the Islamic one. And if the presence of change was of much certainty as well as movement in the physical world, then, the most important issue is the study of how it is present outwardly. There are, actually four theories about the continuity and the outward disconnection of movement while keeping its unity Mirdamad was the first Muslim philosopher who claimed, contrary to his ancestor, the realization of movement in its two forms in the physical world. While Shirazi defended this theory covertly in his reply against the evidences of those who denied the absolute movement. But Tabatabay changed the direction of studying the issue when he stated that there are two considerations of movement with being of kinds.
